On Tuesday 17/12/2024 from 2 pm to 5 pm, our Group's elections will be held at the offices of the tourist shelter (marina) in Agios Kirikos. This year the elections will be held in the presence of a lawyer. Also, for those members who are outside Ikaria, they have the opportunity to exercise their right to vote by postal vote which must be mailed to the offices by Tuesday 17/12 at the address: Nautical Club of Ikaria, Agios Kirikos, P.C. 83300. Finally, you can deposit the 2024 subscription of 20 euros in the NOI account (concerning members outside Ikaria). You will have the names of the candidates in a subsequent announcement. The submitted candidacy applications are examined and approved by the Board of Directors, which then draws up single ballots for presidential and councilor candidates. The ballots are divided into two sections. In the first section, which is placed at the top of the ballot, the names of the presidential candidates are listed, in alphabetical order. In the second section, the names of the councilor candidates are listed, also in alphabetical order. For the audit committee, a single separate ballot is drawn up in which the names of the candidates are written in absolute alphabetical order.
The voter votes for the presidential candidate and the councilor candidates of his preference by marking a cross next to their names. The voter marks with one (1) cross the candidate for president of his preference and is entitled to mark candidate advisors up to two thirds (2/3) of the total number of positions to be elected, including that of the president.
